Milly Alcock, renowned for her portrayal of Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, is set to take on the iconic role of Kara Zor-El in the upcoming film “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.” The announcement, made by DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn on Instagram, has generated significant buzz among fans.
Acting Journey:
A proud graduate of Sydney’s Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Alcock chose to pursue her passion for acting by leaving high school during her final year. Her breakthrough came as part of the cast of the 2019 Australian drama series Upright, alongside Tim Minchin. Recently, she graced London’s West End stage, embodying the character of Abigail Williams in the National Theatre’s production of The Crucible.
Superman: Legacy Cast:
In addition to Alcock, the star-studded cast of “Superman: Legacy” includes David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl.
